Spring 2014 Officers

Jessica Shepard | President | BFA of Interior Design Program

Jessica was born in the northern suburbs of Chicago and raised in Sun Valley, Idaho. She and her family moved back to Illinois where she attended and graduated from Lake Forest High School. Jessica went on to graduate from Augustana College with a BA in Studio Art and a specialization in Photo-naturalistic Charcoal Portraiture. When she isn't at 200 W. Madison or working on homework she plays softball, flag football, explores Chicago with family and friends.

Charlotte Stein | Vice President | BFA of Interior Design Program

Charlotte is originally from Austin, Texas. She moved to Chicago over three years ago to live life and study design. She has one semesters left at Harrington, where she not only participates in Student Government but is also a Service and Leadership Scholar. She works part time in the library and in her (very little) free time she enjoys hanging out with friends and exploring the city.

Kailey Whipple | Activities Coordinator | BFA of Interior Design Program

Kailey is a sophomore in the BFA of Interior Design program at Harrington. She has been obsessed with design since childhood- instead of playing with dolls she would make the houses and furniture for them out of sticks and leaves. She likes to make people laugh and make sure that they are fed and caffeinated, and she wants to help people reach their dreams, no matter how big or wild they are. Kailey has a 3 year old daughter, and she looks up to women who don’t take no for an answer. She would like to design boutique hotels and retail stores, and in the future she would like to own a fancy cake shop and design ridiculous shoes that are better for looking at than for walking.
